Page rank tool
1) The results say I have a PR 0. What does that mean?
This ranking can be anywhere from 0 - 10. 0 is the lowest and 10 is the highest. If the tool comes back with a PR 0, it means that you have the lowest page rank that can be issued.
2) The tool set says that my site has a PR of 4 out of 10, but my Google search bar states that my PR is 3 out of 10, which one is it and why are they different?
Google updates their pagerank internally once every few weeks for their search engine rankings. Google will show the results of the update once every few months. So when you are looking at the Google tool bar you are looking into the past at an estimate. This tool queries Google's data centers for results. This is why the PR might be different.
Link Hub Finder
1) Are the results organized in any order of importance?
No.
2) Does this tool only show links that have a certain PR?
No. Well, not deliberately. The tool shows links that the search engines report back. We have no way of controlling which pages are sent back. Plus, engines other than Google use their own ranking systems, so basing results solely on PageRank would ignore the other search engines.
Advanced Google Rankings
1) What is a Google data center?
Google has many different data centers. If a data center that is closest to your location is busy with queries then your query will be redirected to a different data center to give you results faster.
2) How many data centers are there?
Many people speculate but the search engines don.t publish a list. As we discover more we will add them.
3) Do Yahoo and MSN have different data centers as well?
Yes. But our tool is currently configured to check Google's. We are planning on upgrading the tool to include Yahoo and MSN datacenters as well.
4) Why are my rankings different on the different data centers?i
There are a few possible reasons for this. Different datacenters may have newer/older copies of your webpages, the search engine may be testing a possible change in specific datacenters to see if they should roll it out to the others, content or formula changes could be underway and not made it to all of the other datacenters yet, and so on. When updates are made they are made one data center at a time. This tool will show you the updating patterns. This new version of our tool set allows you to keep copies of the reports that are issued in order to monitor the Google updates, compare the reports made with the index alerts, and see if you can predict the future.
5) What does G1 G2 mean?
G1 is a symbol for the first Google data center; G2 is the second Google data center, ect....
6) I have been trying to generate a report for multiple keywords and nothing is happening, why?
Make sure that there is only one keyword phrase on each line, do not use any punctuation.
Ranking report
1) When I run a ranking report for my site and I know that my site is ranking #1 on the targeted search engine, the report comes up with a different number, why?
There are a number of possible reasons for this. The report could be drawing the report from a different data center. There could be a misspelling. Always check the spelling on the targeted keyword and URL.
Index alert.
1) What does the "last cached" mean?
When Google indexes your website it stores a snap shot of the site. This is called a cache. This tool will show you when Google last showed indexed that page.
2) Why does knowing how many pages Google has indexed in my site matter?
During the SEO process you want to be creating relevant content, meta tags, and links on every page in your site. Knowing how many pages Google has indexed within your site will let you know how much of your work has been noticed. Also, if lots of time passes and you notice that Google has trouble indexing pages within your site, this tells you it might be time to work on your linking campaign or build a site map.
3) Why does each different data center show me different results?

HTML Validator
1) What is accessibility?
Accessibility refers to the ability for your intended audience to be able to use your website. In this case, there are three intended audiences for public websites: people/customers with no visual impairments, people/customers with visual impairments, and search engines. To make a website "accessible" means that you provide the same information to those with impairments as you do to those without. So conveying important information in images and motion could be problematic for people unable to view images. There are possible solutions. Ask your webmaster about them today. With the baby boomers reaching retirement age and the recent lawsuits against companies that are not providing access to their websites for the visually handicapped, ensuring your site is handicap accessible makes financial sense..plus search engines can index the site better which helps bring more visitors so your site.
2) What is the difference between accessibility level 1, 2, and 3?
3) What does the HTML Validator do?
The HTML Validator will check your site against the current W3C standards. When the results display, you will be shown the error and what line and column the error is on.
4) IF my website has errors in it, should my website provider fix this for me?
You should check with your agreement. Standards can change over time.
Back link finder
1) How does the back link finder finds its links?
2) Are the links organized in any order of importance?
3) When I enter keywords into the back link finder I see a bunch of websites that I am competing with, why should I link up with them?
If you look at Mobile Penguins. link page you will notice that we have exchanged links with other website design companies. After you use the link hub finder on multiple competitors you will notice that the top few websites appearing might have reciprocal links exchanged with each other. Just because you are linking up with a competitor does not mean the link is not valid or will not help with your rankings.
Advanced keyword analysis.
1) What is the assumption box for?
Picking the correct keywords to target is one of the MOST IMPORTANT aspects of any effective online marketing campaign. We can give you estimated search counts, bid amounts, and so on. But only you know how pertinent those keywords are to your business. If a potential customer searched for those keywords, how well does your site match? The assumptions box allows you to make better educated guesses on how well your marketing budget will perform if you have a certain click through rate (the amount of times someone clicks on the link to your website from search engines divided by the number of times your website is shown for those keywords.) and a certain conversion rate (number of visitors that bought divided total number of visitors).
2) I thought Google and MSN do not show there search counts.
They Don't. That's why we use the assumptions box. If Yahoo tells us they have a certain amount of visitors for a search term, then we can statistically guess how many searches the other engines will produce if you put in what market share each has.
